Phlox divaricata
Friends with Geranium maculatum, this plant grows well in a forested situation. Near blue flowers rise above the smooth foliage. Will spread to form colonies in ideal conditions. Plants can be sheared after flowering for better habit. Prefers moist soils high in organic matter, but will tolerate less optimal conditions. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
